Key Features Finished, visible edge — the track edge reads as a clean architectural line, with no separate trim needed Bottom-tuck design — fabric inserts from underneath for a crisp perimeter with the edge on show No pre-wrapping — skip wrapping fabric around the edge, saving material and labour versus a hidden-edge detail Made for stand-alone panels — ideal for appliqué panels, floating acoustic panels, and exposed perimeter edges Presses in by hand — no staples or glue; fabric is re-tensionable and fully replaceable 1/2", 1" & 2" depths — match the profile to your acoustic core Full Description A clean, visible edge — no pre-wrapping, no fuss Not every fabric panel wants to disappear into the wall. When you want a defined perimeter — a floating acoustic panel, an appliqué feature, or a run of panels with a finished border — the Exposed-Edge Track delivers exactly that. The profile's edge stays visible as an intentional design line, while the fabric tucks in cleanly from the bottom. Because the fabric doesn't wrap around the outside of the track, there's no pre-wrapping step — one of the more fiddly, time-consuming parts of a hidden-edge detail. The result is faster installs, less fabric waste, and a repeatable, professional edge every time. Like the rest of the Fabric Wall Track System, fabric simply presses into the gripping channel under even tension — no staples, no glue — and can be re-tensioned or fully replaced later without damaging the track or the wall. When to specify Exposed-Edge Stand-alone appliqué panels mounted on a finished wall Floating acoustic panels where the border is part of the look Exposed perimeter edges at the boundary of a fabric run Anywhere a visible, finished edge is preferred over a concealed one Need the edge to disappear instead? Pair with the Hidden-Edge (Top Tuck) Track. Two panels meeting mid-wall? Use the Mid-Wall Joint Track. Engineered to hold The reinforced grip keeps the fabric tight and true for the life of the installation — no sagging, bowing, or edge distortion, even on large panels.
